The Basketball Movement Saturday Clinic

Check out the premier basketball training facility in the Midwest with The Basketball Movement Saturday Clinics.

The Basketball Movement’s bread and butter is our individual or group skill development training (contact us for more info!). We have trained elite area talent, NCAA men and women athletes, and NBA players. The Basketball Movement has a notable history of being a developer of people.

However, not every hooper is ready for intense training, whether due to age or skill level. That is why we implemented Saturday Clinics, an inexpensive way for young players to work on the basics and sharpen their basketball skills.

Every Saturday, the Clinics are held from 9:00-11:00 am unless otherwise posted on our site or social pages.

These mini-camp-style open gyms are for both boys and girls from 2nd to 8th grade. It is $25 to participate. Parents of multiple eligible athletes may be entitled to a discount.

Registration is not necessary, but if you have questions or want to ensure spots, you can call (417) 861-2166 and speak with Coach Craig.

Saturday Clinics are a fun weekend activity that we are thrilled to provide to our community. If you have any further questions, call, or email basketballmovement@yahoo.com

We look forward to seeing you!

We Are United vs. Sunrise Post-Grad

We Are United host Sunrise Post-Grad this Saturday (2/4)

As coaches and staff will be preparing for We Are United prep's home matchup against Sunrise Post-Grad, The Basketball Movement will not host a Saturday Clinic this weekend.

The game will take place on The Basketball Movement's East Court at 3:00 PM (CST). Our doors will be open for spectators, but you will need to hurry in if you want to secure the court-side leather seats!

We Are United is having another successful season under Head Coach Rob Yanders, who would love to see your support tomorrow!

"We have some stuff going on down here that the Springfield area hasn't had before," Yanders says. "The level of hoops our program has brought to the area has already impacted local college programs as well as elevated the Southwest Missouri hoops scene as a whole."

Come out and see what the noise is all about this Saturday at 3:00!

Our usual Saturday Clinics will resume soon - keep an eye on The Basketball Movement Twitter and Facebook for updates.

There are no plans for limiting the number of individuals at this time, but as we continue monitoring the impact of the pandemic, we ask that you adhere to best common-sense practices. If possible, we ask that you limit non-participants that come in and practice social distancing as you observe or move about the facility.

After a long and cautious wait, The Basketball Movement is bringing back our open Saturday Clinics!

The Clinics will be held every Saturday from 9:00-11:00 am unless otherwise posted on our site and social pages.

Check out our Open Clinic on Saturdays!

Every Saturday from 9:00-11:00 AM, The Basketball Movement hosts an Open Clinic

Boys and girls that are in 2nd grade all the way up to 8th grade are invited to come to The Basketball Movement's Open Clinic every Saturday. This is a great way to kick off the weekend by brushing up on basketball and getting a taste of what The Basketball Movement has to offer.

The one-day Open Clinic is essentially a mini-camp designed around the fundamentals of the game and basketball skills. Of course, if you are looking for more in-depth skill training, that is offered as well.

The Basketball Movement is working hard to provide an opportunity for area ballers-in-training to get into a gym and have a chance to learn from some of the best coaches in the area. If your player does not have a gym or needs a quick way to learn some skill or knock-off rust, the Open Clinic is perfect.

The two-hour session focuses on skill development, drills, and provides a scrimmage opportunity for the players to look forward to. Time to take advantage of one of the best basketball opportunities offered in the Springfield metro area.

If you have any questions, just shoot an email to basketballmovement@yahoo.com and one of our trainers will be able to assist you. Check out all that The Basketball Movement has to offer here
